The historic Cinque Port town of Hastings is one of the south coast's up and coming destinations. If you haven't shopped in Hastings for a while, you will notice a big change.

Hastings Town Centre is vibrant, cosmopolitan and mostly traffic-free, with a large range of unique shops and national outlets offering friendly service and excellent value. The attractive and airy Priory Meadow Shopping Centre is centrally located. The historic America Ground quarter and the traditional shopping areas of Wellington Place and Queens Road lie close by. In summer, the streets come alive with inviting cafe-bars and open-air entertainment. The seafront lies just off the heart of the town centre and offers a relaxing break from the bustling atmosphere of the shopping areas. Car parks are conveniently located and Hastings Station is a 2-minute walk from the heart of the town centre.

To the west of Hastings Town Centre lies St Leonards, which offers all the attractions of the traditional High Street and an interesting range of specialty shops not found anywhere else in Hastings. Warrior Square Station lies in the heart of the shopping area, and free on-street parking is a bonus.

A few hundred yards to the east of Hastings Town Centre is the historic Old Town, a quaint area of narrow streets and picturesque buildings. The hidden twittens and passageways, interesting shops and historic shore-based fishing fleet all contribute to the unique atmosphere.
