About Hastings & St Leonards TCM Business Partnership
The partnership's Town Centre Improvement Programme provides grants and other support to help new businesses get established and existing businesses grow and adapt to changing markets. We also encourage employment and training opportunities for local people through grants to town centre employers.
Our Business Crime Reduction Partnership provides tools and training to help retailers and publicans reduce their vulnerability to crime and improve safety for customers and staff.
We work with the Council and other key partners to improve public spaces and dilapidated buildings, and we offer grants to help improve commercial buildings in the town centre.
The partnership promotes the town centres to visitors, shoppers and investors, and we collaborate with other agencies engaged in town centre regeneration. We organise events to attract shoppers and visitors to the town centre and provide grants and other support to local groups planning cultural events or other projects that add vitality to the streets and public areas.
Funding for our activities comes from HBC the EU, the UK, Government, regional development agencies and our major sponsors, and from the more than 100 town centre businesses who are members of the Town Centre Management partnership.
